He produced his first litter of 12 puppies with
Lightning Lucy JH.

He passed his 4 competition hunts to obtain the
title of AKC Senior Hunter under Trainer/Handler
Phil Brown.

Gus is an excellent marker and picks up on his
lessons quickly. He is very trainable and loves to
work. At home he is a gentle, easy going dog.
Gus is a
quality yellow son of 2 X NAFC Ramblin
Man X Cougar's Goin for Alleyoopmgp, MH. She only ran
in 4 QAA and placed reserve JAM in 2 of them.

Gus has his Junior and Senior Hunt titles, house
broke, CC, obedience, FF, doing double blind work.
He learns very quickly, excellent marker, and runs
straight lines, loves the water and does not cheat
on returns. He has lots of drive in the field. He is
quiet on the line and studies the fields for his
marks. He has been pheasant and duck hunted all over
the US including Arkansas, Texas, Ohio, Michigan,
PA, Kentucky!
He weighs about 70 lbs., deep
chest, square head. He is very handsome.
He impressed his club at 7 weeks old when the Torgs
were testing out the club's new wingers and he ran
out and retrieved a duck shot from the winger. The
duck was bigger than he was but he returned it right
to hand!
He is an excellent competition dog,
hunting companion and family pet!
